Perhaps one of the worst hurricanes to hit the Cayman Islands until Hurricane Ivan in 2004, the hurricane of November 1932 wreaked havoc over the 8th and 9th caused widespread property destruction while claiming a total of a 108 lives – some of whom were even still at sea the storm season thought long over for the year. The recorded exhibit was produced in conjunction with the Memory Bank at the Cayman Islands National Archive and is on display at the George Town museum.
